Meredith Broussard is an assistant professor and author of “Artificial Unintelligence: How Computers Misunderstand the World.” Her research focuses on AI in investigative reporting and using data analysis for social good. Previously, she was a features editor for the “Philadelphia Inquirer,” and also worked at AT&T Bell Labs and the MIT Media Lab. She holds a BA from Harvard University and an MFA from Columbia University.
