Christina Cocca is the news director for NowThis, overseeing daily news and breaking strategy across the brand's multiple social platforms. She has previously led digital teams at BuzzFeed, NBC, and Whisper. Christina’s reporting has won awards from the Los Angeles Press Club, California Newspaper Publishers Association, and California Media Association. She served on the board of the Society of Professional Journalists Los Angeles Chapter as vice president and digital chair. She currently lives in Brooklyn with her dog.
