The Science of Creativity: Cultivating ‘Creative Consciousness’  in the Modern Workplace
Hosted by Havas

The brains behind some of the world’s most iconic ad campaigns, New York’s advertising agencies are famed for their creative output. But what is the secret to great creative thinking? At Havas New York, creative consciousness is the start. Led by chief creative officer Harry Bernstein, whose passion for his employees’ happiness is as much of a priority as his clients’ work, the agency has taken steps to deconstruct some of the less healthy workplace conventions to help care for and unlock the creative power of the brain. This is less about bring-your-dog-to-work policies and Ping-Pong tables; for Havas, well-being is about arming ambitious employees with all of the practical and psychological tools they need to flourish—both personally and professionally. From meditation rooms to in-house farmers markets, time in analog libraries as a place to “unplug,” and embracing the side hustle and a creative-to-creator mentality, Havas puts the well-being of its employees at the center. In this session, join Bernstein and the Havas team for a look at how they are unlocking brilliant ideas with a purpose-built office space for the modern workforce. This session will include guided meditation by renowned wellness expert and transformational coach Sah D’Simone, complimentary organic produce from Havas’s in-house farmers market Bhumi Farms, and honest conversation with creatives who are using consciousness to unlock their full potential.
