Please join the Arbor Day Foundation in a hyperfocused tree stewardship event including a tree walk, the history of trees, a meeting with an arborist, and tree tending in New York’s famed Central Park (97th St. and 5th Ave./North Lawn Woods). Each attendee will be gifted a certificate for a free tree delivered to their home after the event to plant in their yard as a token of thanks for participation in this activity. Since we will be using shovels and other tools, please dress appropriately with closed-toe shoes. Water, planting apron, and box lunch will be provided. Join us rain or shine. Transportation will be provided from Convene. It is a short walk from the 92nd Street Y.
