Flying With an Icon: Eero Saarinen’s Historic TWA Terminal & Design Innovation at the TWA Hotel at JFK
Hosted by MCR/MORSE, Beyer Blinder Belle, Lubrano Ciavarra, Stonehill Taylor, and INC

When the TWA Hotel opens at JFK Airport in spring 2019, Eero Saarinen’s magical 1962 TWA Flight Center will once again spread its wings—this time as the heart of a 512-room hotel. Join the design and development team from MCR/MORSE, Beyer Blinder Belle (historic restoration), Lubrano Ciavarra (new architecture), Stonehill Taylor (guest room interior design) and INC (event space design) in a discussion about working with 21st-century ingenuity on one of the world’s most iconic structures. An interactive presentation at the TWA Lounge on the 86th floor of One World Trade Center will provide a behind-the-scenes look at the TWA Hotel’s unique design process, which combined historical research and the modern guest experience.
