Redesigning the American Dream
Hosted by the New School and PBS

How do we end up where we are in life? How do we view success versus failure? And why do some people who have “made it” help those who are struggling while others do not? Our ability to reflect on these questions impacts how we treat each other in our companies, communities, and our country. In this interactive session, you’ll see the power of applying social science to one of the most important issues of our times. An interactive quiz will allow you to reflect on your own views and the panel discussion will provide deeper understanding of the psychology behind how we think about our own journeys and those of others. Learn how inquiry can be a more powerful tool than advocacy when it comes to bridging divides. And you’ll leave with a renewed appreciation of what success looks like and how it is achieved in America.
