From artist-designed sneakers to brand-commissioned creative labs, what used to be a stark dividing line between corporations and the art world continues to blur as more companies pursue collaborations with creatives. Moderated by Andrea Hill and Samantha Culp, cofounders of brand and culture symposium Culture™, this discussion with Damian Bradfield (president and CMO of WeTransfer), Julia Kaganskiy (director of NEW INC at the New Museum), and visual artist Shantell Martin will explore the newly central role of brands in creative culture—and address key questions for developing best practices for this converging territory of commerce and creativity. The panel will also look at how technology not only supports these collaborations, but how it can present opportunities for more innovative mashups.
