How NBBJ Is Using Data to Design More Human-Centered Spaces
Date & Time
Tuesday, November 1, 2016, 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM
Description
NBBJ, 140 Broadway, 29th Floor, New York, NY 10005

As our cities become more dense and less affordable, human-centered spaces have become sought after and even demanded by employees and city dwellers. Since the early 20th century, we’ve watched the events unfold when space is used poorly: uninspiring corporate campuses are left underutilized, green spaces are lost and cities slowly decay from suburban sprawl. This session will bring together experts in design and technology—including NBBJ associate Suzy Genzler—to look at how new approaches in workplace analytics, sensor networks, urban intelligence, computer vision, and data visualization are being leveraged to reveal hidden patterns and untapped opportunities for businesses and cities.
