Cofounder and President
Jason Ballard is the cofounder and president of TreeHouse, a home-improvement company that offers cutting-edge, sustainable products and turnkey solutions across all categories of the home to builders and owners. Prior to founding TreeHouse in 2008, he was a “green” carpenter and served on the program staff at the Boulder Shelter for the Homeless in Colorado. In addition to his role at TreeHouse, Ballard is a GLG Social Impact Fellow, serves on the Carbon War Room within the Rocky Mountain Institute Energy Think Tank, and was invited to join the Sustainability Advisory Council of NRG. Ballard is originally from East Texas and holds a degree in conservation biology from Texas A&M University.
