Steve Dorval is the president of personal financial services and the head of innovation and advice for John Hancock, the U.S. division of Toronto-based Manulife. Dorval is tasked with leveraging groundbreaking technologies to improve John Hancock’s ability to deliver industry-leading investment advice and financial planning to a new generation of digital native customers. He joined the company in 2015 after New York Life’s retirement and investment division was acquired by John Hancock. He holds a BA in English from Providence College and is a CFA charterholder, as well as a member of the CFA Institute and the Boston Security Analysts Society.
