Greg Economou is the chief commercial officer and head of sports at Ticketmaster. He oversees the sports division, managing client-facing products and services throughout professional and collegiate athletics and working in industry sales and marketing operations as well. Prior to Ticketmaster, he was an executive vice president and the chief revenue officer for Dick Clark Productions, where he was instrumental in forging strategic partnerships across industries. Economou began his career in sports, as a professional basketball player in Greece. In college, he played for the UConn Huskies. Economic has held several high-profile positions across the sports world including CMO of the NBA, chief revenue officer of Bobcats Sports & Entertainment in Charlotte, North Carolina, and executive vice president of revenue performance for the Madison Square Garden Company in New York.
