President of Global Human Health
Adam Schechter is an executive vice president of Merck and the president of Merck’s Global Human Health division, which includes the company's worldwide pharmaceutical and vaccine businesses. He is also a member of the Merck executive committee.
Previously, Adam was president of the Merck Global Pharmaceutical Business. His extensive experience at Merck includes leading the company's integration efforts for the 2009 merger of Merck and Schering-Plough and leadership roles spanning sales, marketing, managed markets, medical affairs, business development and product development.
Adam is chairman of the board for water.org and member of the board of directors for Laboratory Corporation of America (LabCorp) and the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA).
